Nicci explores both functional and sculptural forms. Each piece moves through a thoughtful, multi-stage process that includes shaping the form, developing surface textures, refining details, and completing the work through firing. She works with a range of finishes, including glazes, underglazes, and cold surface treatments, to bring depth and character to her pieces.
